LIGHT UP A LIFE – 2022

Light Up A Life has been scheduled for Sunday, December 4, 2022
4:30 at the Goshen Church of Christ Congregational

Dear Friends,

Let us gather again! We look forward to new beginnings and the return of our annual celebration—Light Up A Life—on Sunday, December 5 at 4:30 p.m. at Goshen’s Church of Christ Congregational. We invite you to be a part of this special event!

We know that the holiday season can be difficult for many who are grieving a loss and this gathering is a wonderful opportunity to remember and celebrate our loved ones who are no longer with us. The service includes music, non-denominational prayer, flowers, and the solemn reading of names from our Book of Remembrance. The service will conclude with a tree lighting and reception.

Light Up A Life is a fundraiser for Goshen Community Care and Hospice, a community-based nonprofit. The organization aids Goshen residents so that they can live in dignity, safety and comfort while aging in place in their homes. Our programs include regular outreach to seniors, monthly lunch and social activities, loan closet with medical equipment, support for individuals returning home from the hospital, end of life support, and bereavement services.

We would love to have you join this celebration by submitting names on the enclosed response card and/or joining us in person on December 5.  Please note that we will be gathering at the Congregational Church this year to allow for greater social distancing. We are excited to illuminate the large tree in front of the church.

As always, if you or a neighbor might benefit from the services of Goshen Community Care and Hospice, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you.

Sincerely,

Suzan Kircher,
Board President
