NEW! Balance and Strength with Agata

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us Monday mornings this Fall for this FREE wellness class!

Mondays from 10-11 AM. Sept 8th– December 8th in the Parish Hall! *no class on October 13 or November 24th*

This class will incorporate Pilates utilizing various equipment, including:

  • Chair
  • Wall
  • Small props such as balls, bands, and magic circles.

While improving strength and balance, you will build strength and stamina so you can walk out of each class empowered and confident to live the life you want.

No experience necessary, all fitness levels welcome!

Chair Yoga with Crystal- November Session

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us Wednesdays for Chair Yoga with Crystal.

November 5th-26th

10:00-11:00 AM

$15 for the month. Drop in for $5 per class.
This class provides the benefits of yoga from a seated position.  We will focus on breathing, strengthening, flexibility, and mental wellness through modified yoga poses and Crystal singing bowl vibrations.

NEW TIME: 9:30-10:30 AM

$15 for the month.
Drop in for $5 per class.
This class will open, stretch, and strengthen your body!  It introduces the foundational principles of yoga and the blending of gentle movement and deep breathing.  We will focus on optimal physical alignment and creating balance.

Table Talk Hot Lunch-November

Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us on Tuesdays for lunch and educational programming!

Our free monthly lunch for our older adult residents is held on the second Tuesday of every month. The lunch is catered by a local Goshen restaurant and is followed by a brief educational program. The meal is served at 12:00 noon and is made possible with grant support from Connecticut Community Foundation.

Hot lunch will be catered by Goshen Pizza.  We will be celebrating Veterans Day with some local historical and general trivia.

Good Company Boxed Lunch- November

Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month for a cold lunch box and good company!

NEW for 2025!

Our free monthly boxed lunch for seniors is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Our lunch boxes will contain a sandwich, fruit, cookies, chips, and a beverage- at no cost to you! 

Our October lunch will feature guest speaker Leo Ghio of Northwest Hills Council of Governments, discussing challenges of rural health.

Our guest speakers will be followed by card games and other activities.

Light Up a Life 2025

Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for Light Up a Life 2025

Our 2025 Light Up a Life celebration will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 5:00pm.  We will gather first at Church of Christ Congregational, 5 Old Middle Street, in Goshen, CT, and follow with a small reception in the Parish Hall.

How Can You Participate?

  1. Submit Names for our Book of Remembrance:  Each year we read off a list of loved ones who have brought light to our lives.  You may submit as many names as you’d like for us to read aloud during our service.  To make a submission, simply email your list of names to lmarano@goshencommunitycare.org.
  2. Make a Donation: Your generous support of this event allows Goshen Community Care to continue offering important supportive care services and programs to our older adult community free of charge.
  3. Attend our celebration: The more, the merrier!  We invite you to share in this very special evening of remembrance and celebration.  All are welcome!  To view our event program from 2024, click here.
