We Love Our Volunteers!

National Volunteer Week takes place each year in April.  From April 20-26, 2025, we want to honor and celebrate all of our volunteers who support Goshen Community Care’s mission and allow us to provide some amazing programs and services to our community.  Without YOU there would be no US.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do to support our wonderful organization!

Here are just a few of the special people in our Goshen community who give their time so generously to support our work:

A longtime volunteer at Goshen Community Care… she’s seen and heard it all. She delivers meals with a smile, visits friends in need, sells water, gives rides, and helpful advice! Thanks for ALL you’ve contributed to our organization over the many many years of service. You’ve been the driving force as one of our founders. Keep pushing us to greatness, Janet!

Dedicated community volunteer! Makes meals for people in need, delivers a friendly smile to shut-ins, sells water at the fair, always willing to give rides. Tried and true, loyal to Goshen Community Care’s mission throughout many many years. Thanks Mary, you’re a gem.

Jan is a staple at our Tuesday socials and lunches. Always there to help with anything and everything from cleaning a coffee pot to stacking chairs. Thanks Jan! We appreciate you and please keep it up! Goshen Community Care needs you!

Darlene has been a huge help recently with giving community members rides to any and everything from yoga, doctor’s appointments and social gatherings. We wouldn’t be able to do it all without you Darlene!

Always helpful at our monthly Tuesday lunches! She serves food with a smile and she doesn’t stop there, she goes and goes and goes until everything is cleaned up and put away. Thank you, Helene!

A longtime dedicated volunteer! Jo has supported Goshen Community Care’s mission and love of community throughout her many many years of volunteerism. Jo can be seen every month helping serve our hot Tuesday lunches. She always brings a treat too for that dessert table. You’re the best Jo.

Judi truly loves Goshen Community Care and it shows anytime we ask her to help with something! She speaks on behalf of our organization regularly and is willing to help with giving rides and delivering to shut-ins. Thanks for your loyalty throughout your many years of service Judi.

Wow, Linda has hit the ground running as a new volunteer for Goshen Community Care. She has been assisting at all our monthly lunch events. Serving with a smile and even including some of her neighbors in on all the fun. We appreciate you Linda, and your husband’s muscles, for helping at our busy events.

A regular face at all our lunches, and water sales booth! Longtime volunteer and friend to us, always willing to visit neighbors, make meals, and give a friendly ‘hello’. Thank you Holly for consistently being a supportive and positive volunteer!
