Join the Board of Directors
Our organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who help to provide fiscal oversight and align the organization’s mission, strategy, and goals. Our board generally meets monthly on Monday evenings. Please email our Board President Sarah Leonard to find out more!
Visit us at the Goshen Fair!
Support us by purchasing bottled water from the Goshen Community Care booth at the annual Goshen Fair! This is one of the largest fundraising events we host each year, as the exclusive seller of bottled water for the Goshen Fair. Every dollar we raise from selling water goes directly to support Goshen Community Care programs and services! In 2025, we raised over $14,000! THANK YOU to all of our volunteers and supporters!
The 2026 Goshen Fair takes place from Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th. More details to come!
Light Up A Life
Save the Date! Goshen Community Care will hold our annual Light Up a Life Celebration on Sunday, December 7th, 2025.
The holiday season can be difficult for many who are grieving a loss, and this gathering is a wonderful opportunity to remember and celebrate our loved ones who are no longer with us. We are excited to gather again to support members of our community and celebrate those who have brought light into our lives.
The service includes music and the solemn reading of names from our Book of Remembrance. The ceremony will conclude with a festive lighting of a holiday tree outside the church, and a reception will follow in the Parish Hall. We extend special thanks to Sepples Tree Services for their assistance with hanging the holiday lights.
Support GCC during Give Local
Goshen Community Care is thrilled to participate in Connecticut Community Foundation’s annual Give Local Greater Waterbury and Litchfield Hills give-a-thon! The 2025 Give Local campaign was our most successful yet…we had more donors than ever before and raised over $3,000 from our local community members. Stay tuned for Give Local 2026, happening April 21 & 22!
