Goshen Community Care and Hospice Receives $550 in Funding from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal
Goshen, Conn – October 18, 2022 – On Tuesday, October 18, 2022 Goshen Community Care and Hospice, Inc. received a check in the amount of $550 from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program.
The funding will help Goshen Community Care and Hospice continue its mission of assisting the residents of Goshen—without charge—by providing services in time of need so that all town residents may live in dignity, safety, and comfort. Goshen Community Care and Hospice offers community programs, senior socials, support for those returning from a hospital stay, transportation to appointments, medical supply loan closet, access to food pantry, volunteer hospice care, bereavement support, and educational programs focusing on medical and health related issues.
“Goshen Community Care and Hospice is honored to be a recipient of the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. We are constantly looking for ways to reach out to our community and keep residents engaged in new ways,” comments Erin Reilly, Coordinator. “This funding will enable us to enhance our programs, outreach, and social opportunities for our residents.”
